The Problem

The oppressive weight of an exponentially expanding government, idiotic tax law, blatant fiscal irresponsibility, and uncalled for government interference in our lives and the economy has long since passed the point of reasonable and rational restraint.

It must be stopped.

The Solutions

1. Tax Reform

I firmly believe the root of many of our country’s problems lies in our over-bloated tax code. The federal tax code and the IRS are wielded by the government as a means of selectively rewarding and/or punishing individuals and companies. This practice needs to STOP!

I fully support the FairTax plan as the replacement for our current federal tax laws.

“The FairTax plan is a comprehensive proposal that replaces all federal income and payroll based taxes with an integrated approach including a progressive national retail sales tax, a prebate to ensure no American pays federal taxes on spending up to the poverty level, dollar-for-dollar federal revenue neutrality, and, through companion legislation, the repeal of the 16th Amendment.”

2. Smaller Government

NO MORE RED TAPE

Our convoluted, pork-belly-filled, thousand and two thousand page law writing practices need to stop. Excessive legislation and unnecessary government programs need to be responsibly ended AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I support responsibly and efficiently ending all extraneous and unnecessary federal government programs in favor of replacing them with privatized, state, or local replacements.

3. More Freedom

Along with smaller government, I fully support the principles of personal responsibility and the freedom and liberty they convey. Americans should be free to live their lives as they see fit provided their lives and choices don’t interfere with others’ lives. Live and let live. I support:

  • Freedom of speech
  • Freedom of religion
  • Freedom of the press
  • Second amendment right to keep and bear arms
  • Repeal of prohibition
  • Repeal of the 16th amendment (income tax) and replacement of our current tax law with the FairTax
  • Free market economics without government intervention
  • An END to government involvement and ownership of private companies
  • Lower government regulation and interference for:
    • Commerce
    • Healthcare
    • Insurance
    • The economy
  • … and many other sound, common sense principles.
