On Monday, January 18th, 2010, thousands of patriots from across the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond will descend upon the state capitol grounds in Richmond, Virginia to voice their support (or in some instances, opposition) to their lawmakers who are considering bills and legislation for the new legislative session. I will attend to voice my support for state legislation that supports our state’s sovereignty, for the 10th and 2nd amendments to the United States Constitution, and for the individuals who are taking their time out of the long holiday weekend to voice their opinion.
Having heard feedback from concerned citizens, fellow Libertarian Party members, the Virginia Citizens Defense League, and the Roanoke Tea Party, I look forward to the opportunity to share these concerns with our state lawmakers and support their efforts to ensure our liberties, rights, and freedoms are protected.
